i wonder

if i will receive any surprise this monday. the birthday's here and while i am not making a big deal over it, there's this strange longing for someone to do something special.

i wish for a big bouquet of tulips. as extravagant as that sounds, they'll always make me happy. tulips that is. so far, the people who have given me tulips who people who mattered to me at that particular point of my life.

but seeing that no one really matters to me now (apart from the family), maybe not this year. and once again, another year goes by.

hopefully, one day, this normalcy will end. soon.
