are such a foreign concept of late that i very nearly forgot that i have an essay due. 1500 words.
OH MY SHIT.
Ok, 1500 words isn't a lot but the fact that it is due in less than a week is still very unnerving. Sigh. And I thought those days were behind me.
School's boring. WTO law is dry, although the prof more than makes up for it.
i realise bad handwriting is a great way to fudge spelling.
and i am still very bored.

winter song
i heard this at dawn's party, and i thought it was one excellent song. I looked around for it- got mixed up with the sarah machlan's song which is also good, but not the one and ta da.
eunice says it's boring, but that's exactly what i like abt it. the beauty in monotony and repetition. it echoes an outlook to life, one which i had never thought i would eventually subscribe to. back in my heydays in sec school, life was so busy, so noisy, so.... fast.
and then as i grew older, i realised life began to slow down. i hated it at first, denying the change. i looked for ways to change, never realising that yes, sometimes change is good.
and now that i might have fully accepted that life has indeed slowed down, the most unexpected things actually happen. which is why i never understand why people think we can control life. we can't, and we are foolish if we think we can.

himalayan flower
According to Garhwali folklore, Pyoli was a young maiden living in the forest. She was raised by animals and her first human contact was in the form of a prince who had lost his way during a hunting expedition. She tended after him and of course he fell in love with her. He persuaded her to marry him and accompany him to his palace. Although she loved the prince she started wilting away in the absence of a natural environment. No one could cure her and finally she died pining for her flora and fauna friends. Her last wish was that she should be buried among her friends. The prince took her to be buried at the place he had first met her. Some time later a pretty, yellow flower came out at the spot. This flower was named after the pretty nature-loving belle

yay. 2010.
just feeling random and an intense urge to play mahjong, cook and bake.
anything else but to go to school and study.
