parents' birthdays

came and went. they are born 4 days apart, in the same hospital, with one digit difference in their IC number. it's almost as though

they were made for each other.

well, they turned 50 and because both eunice and i were too broke, we didn't exactly blow a huge sum on their presents. it was huge, but not THAT huge. still... i am broke. sigh.

my birthday is coming up soon as well, together with the sister's. i am not exactly looking forward to being proclaimed 23 (UGH!!!!). birthdays used to hold so much magic for me, until my 21st. that signalled the end of the magic birthday dust.

growing up is so difficult.

on that note on growing up, i caught diary of a wimpy kid and it was HILARIOUS. although it was hilarious in real-life when we found ourselves watching the first 5 min of a rather spooky forest and then concluding (SMARTLY) that we were in the wrong theatre. I tell you, all that mugging and school air has gotten to us all.

3 more days to submission date, 10 more days to defense. 10 more days to the FINAL class of my undergrad life. 19 more days to my final undergrad exam. xx more days to tokyo. xx more days to my birthday. xx more days to work.
